The Malaysian Herbal Monograph (MHM) development is a progressive project carried out by various agencies with the aim of promoting Malaysian medicinal plants and development of the herbal industry as one of the country's key economic areas. Malaysian Herbal Monograph Committee (JK MHM) operating from the Institute for Medical Research (IMR) has published a book titled Malaysian Herbal Monograph 2015 in early 2016 with the aim of providing information on local herbs used in the herbal industry. This book incorporates monographs from Volume 1, 2, 3 and monograph herbs developed under the Initiation Project 1 (EPP1: Highly-valued herbs) in the economic development agenda. Book is now available for sale at RM1,500.00 per copy.
