1. The main objective of the Endocrine Unit is to conduct research in areas related inherited endocrine rare diseases including diabetes and adrenal disorders and provide molecular services.
2. To collaborate with other institutions in endocrinology diseases related research.
3. To be a centre of excellence for laboratory clinical research and provide specialised diagnostics services in endocrinology field and to be the central endocrine Molecular laboratory for KKM hospitals.
