Salmonella serotypingDiagnostic Services
The unit provides culture of clinical specimens for bacteria and fungi services to private labs and government hospitals that do not have Bacteriology lab. This unit serves government hospitals as a referral lab for bacterial and fungal identification and enteric pathogen serotyping.
Beside the diagnosis of bacterial and fungal infections based on culture and identification, several molecular diagnostic services are available such as for tuberculosis, Bordetella pertussis and zoonotic infections such as leptospirosis, brucellosis and rickettsiosis.
