- To strengthen and develop in vitro cell-based assays for biological properties and in vivo efficacy studies to determine bioactivity and medicinal potential of extracts, compounds or formulations of herbal plant products.
- To carry out research on medicinal plant extracts, compounds or formulations of herbal plant products to gather enough efficacy data as required for clinical study approval, which are not limited to in vitro and in vivo efficacy activity, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic data.
